Why We Chose the Kurgo Dog Harness for Draco XIV

Draco XIV is a golden retriever, and walks are a big part of his day. The Kurgo dog harness is one of the products we chose to showcase here.

Why we picked it

A harness spreads pressure across the chest instead of the neck, which is why many owners of larger, strong dogs prefer one for daily walks. We picked Kurgo as the first product on Draco XIV's page because it fits the kind of everyday gear we want to show.

What to check before you buy

Measure your dog's chest and check the maker's current size chart before ordering, since sizing differs by model.

Introduce any new harness gradually and re-check the fit after the first few walks.
